If you live in Clarkston and work in Lewiston, or the other way around, you already build your day around two bridges. The Blue Bridge carries US 12 across the Snake and was built with a vertical lift for river traffic. The Southway Bridge, open since 1982, is the alternate that lands you on the Bryden Canyon side of town.

We scan the tooth digitally, design the crown on screen, and mill it here in the office while you wait. The traditional route sends an impression to an outside lab, which means a temporary crown and a second appointment two or three weeks later.
Most cases are, yes. Some situations still call for two visits, usually when there is an infection to treat first or the tooth needs work below the gum line. We look at the tooth and tell you which one you are before we start, not partway through.
Plan on a longer single appointment rather than two short ones. Bring something to read or work on while the crown mills. For most commuters that is still far less total time than two round trips across the river.
The ceramic used for single-visit crowns is made for full chewing function on back teeth. Longevity depends much more on the tooth underneath, your bite, and whether you grind at night than on where the crown was manufactured.
We open at 7:30 in the morning, which for a lot of valley commuters is the only hour that does not cost them a shift. Call the office and ask which days have an early crown slot open.
Keep it, do not chew on that side, and call us. If it happened in the middle of a workday we will get you in as soon as we can. This is one of the more common reasons people come to us asking about the single-visit option.
